iPhone TIPS: Mark Zuckerberg buys Instagram for $1 Billion

Mark Zuckerberg himself, just posted on his Facebook page that Facebook has acquired Instagram, the photo sharing service with the very popular app Instagram for the iPhone and since last week also for Android.
According to media, Zuckerberg bought it for $1 Billion. Therefore, the Instagram team is joining the Facebook team.
" Facebook, the world’s largest social network, said it had agreed to buy Instagram, the popular mobile-centric photo-sharing service, for $1 billion in cash and stock, giving it a stronger foothold on mobile devices. It would be Facebook’s largest acquisition to date by far."

Integration of both Instagram and Facebook is according to Zuckerberg not main focus. He has explained it as following in his todays post:
"We believe these are different experiences that complement each other. But in order to do this well, we need to be mindful about keeping and building on Instagram's strengths and features rather than just trying to integrate everything into Facebook."
