Mi Drop is basically a peer to peer or P2P file transfer services between Mi Phones. Mi Drops was included in MIUI 7 and the pre-requisite to use Mi Drop is:

• Both phones should be MI Phone and should have Mi Drop feature on both
• MIUI 7 (Global Developer ROM 5.9.25 or China Developer ROM 5.10.8 onwards)
